The show

Friday, April 29

22 hour day

Got to the studio at 8:30 pm on Thursday and left the studio at 6:30 pm on Friday. What a long day, but it is done. The show is up and it looks great. I spent all night polishing resin and then finished the next afternoon. I had a crew to help finish polishing and gluing. A big thanks to everyone who helped! I will be sure to post plenty of videos and pictures this month.

Studio Takeover

Took over the glaze mixing area in the studio this past Easter weekend to work on the big boys. It was nice.

Bronze Pour

This is a video of one of the many bronze pours done at Marywood this spring. The video has been speed up hundreds of times but slows down to regular speed during the pours. That's me supporting the crucible as Paul pours it, Larissa skims and Bob operates the crane. On Saturday Tim handled the crane. I'll be sure to post pictures of my bronze after it has been all cleaned up.

Relief

My large piece survived the kiln. Now it just needs to be assembled. Sounds so simple.
